Samuel G. Brucker Jr., 86 of Lancaster passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at the Fairfield Medical Center. Samuel was born on June 9, 1937 in Lancaster, Ohio to the late Samuel G. Sr and Emma (Vogel) Brucker. He retired from the City of Lancaster Sanitation Department after 30 years of service. He also enjoyed flying homing pigeons and watching Ohio State Sports, especially the basketball team.
He is survived by his wife, Jeannette; sons, Rick, Bruce (Linda) Sammy, and Shawn; daughter, Jody; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and many other loving family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Harley, Grant, Noble, and Donald; along with his sister, Viola Hartman.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at 4PM at the HALTEMAN-FETT & DYER FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Al Debelak officiating. Visitation will take place from 2PM until the time of the services on Wednesday. Per Samuel’s wishes, Dignity Cremation is to take place following the services.
