Susan M Roush

Sue Roush, a devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and beloved wife, passed away on Monday, October 6, 2025, at the age of 65. Born on January 27, 1960, to Laura and Clarence Clifton, Sue was the loving wife of Larry Roush. They would have celebrated 46 years of marriage this December. For over 25 years, she was a respected member of the Columbus Dispatch family, but her greatest role was as the heart of her own family.

Sue found her deepest joy in the simple beauties of nature and the unwavering warmth of her family. She was happiest with her hands in the soil, tending to her flower garden, or simply watching the birds from her window. She often combined her two great loves, taking walks with her husband, Larry, or gathering her sons and grandson for a backyard barbecue. For Sue, a perfect day was one spent outdoors, surrounded by the people she loved most.

Her memory will be cherished and kept alive by her devoted husband, Larry Roush. She is survived by her loving sons, Larry (Jennifer) Roush, Mark Roush, and Todd Roush; her treasured grandson, Jacob; and her dear sister, Carol (Dan) Gould. Sue will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, and close friends.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Laura and Clarence Clifton.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Sue's life on Friday, October 17, 2025, at Faith Memorial Church, located at 2610 W Fair Ave, Lancaster. Calling hours will begin at 1:00 PM, followed by the funeral service at 2:00 PM. Flowers are welcome and may be sent to the church.
