Uncle Ted is very memorable. His personality was strong but he cared. As a kid probably in the 1st grade I remember going to his house where he was making coffee in a pot on the stove. I liked tea not coffee but he convinced me to try it and try it black like it is "meant" to be served. I didn't like it and his reaction surprised me. He went on-and-on about it for hours but in a fun way saying what do you mean you don't like it. It is the worlds best coffee! We joked about the "coffee" every time I went over after that. I still remember playing pool with Caroline for hours and the horses were very impressive to me. I also enjoyed hearing about Ted when my dad would visit. I'll have to have coffee with Uncle Ted, Caroline, and Norma on the other side now that I really enjoy coffee. I plan to sneak in some cream and sugar to get another surprise reaction.
