Thomas “Tom “Franklin Daubenmire, age 90 of Lancaster, passed away Saturday, February 7, 2026. Tom was born in Lancaster, Ohio to the late Georgia and Walter Daubenmire. He was the owner of Dittmar Sales and Service for over 50 years, Life member of Charity Newsies, 1954 Lancaster High School graduate and worked for Fairfield County Sheriff's Office for 12 years.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Sue (Dittmar) Daubenmire, daughters, Debra Baker and Barb Baker, brothers, Bill (Betty) Daubenmire, Dave Daubenmire.
He is survived by daughter, Cathy (Robert) Gaskill, grandchildren, Tom (Amy) Garner, Mike (Kendra) Garner, Wendy Emmert, Shane (Charity) Gaskill, Ryan (Sara) Gaskill, Brandi (Chase) Turner; 15 grandchildren, sister, Suzanne (Marion) Morgan, brother, John (Linda) Daubenmire, sister-in-law, Linda Daubenmire, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation for family and friends will be from 4PM to 7PM on Thursday, February 12, 2026 at Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home. Funeral Services will take place at 1:00 PM Friday at the funeral home, followed by burial at Maple Grove Cemetery, Lancaster.
