Our beloved, Trent Michael Glaze, left this world far too soon on August 1, 2025. He was born on October 22, 1992 in Lancaster, Ohio. We have lost a true treasure of our community. Trent graduated from Fairfield Union High School in 2012. He was employed at Buckeye Toyota for almost 10 years where he managed on-line sales and the new division of BraunAbility.
Through the years he participated in T-Ball, sled hockey, bocce ball, wheelchair basketball and Olympics, Muscular Dystrophy camp, FFA, and the Fairfield Union football program.
Trent was a volunteer football coach and enjoyed following all his fellow classmates in their activities. He was a mentor and leader to the underclassmen and was loved by all who met him.
Hunting was an activity he loved and spent countless hours sitting in a blind waiting on that elusive long beard turkey or whitetail buck.
Even though he had his own personal challenges, he never let that stop him from living his best life. We admired Trent for his ability to lift your spirits up when you needed it the most. He could light up a room with his brilliant smile.
Trent will be missed by his parents Rex and Debra Glaze; sisters Tara (Robert) Fratturo, Taylor (Garrett) Price; nephews Lucas, Gavin and Henry; aunts Debbie Markwood, Kathy (Dave) Bornino, Linda Glaze, Gloria ( Kevin) Freeland; uncle Jeff (Darleen) Lawson; cousins Zach, Jennifer, Elizabeth, Emma, Aaron, Aidan; and many other beloved family and friends. Trent was preceded in death by grandparents Robert and Jean Glaze, Danny Lawson, Marilyn Lawson; aunts Beverly Hinton, Peg O’Brien; uncle Mike Markwood; cousin Chelsea Freeland.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the dedicated doctors, nurses and staff at Nationwide Children’s Hospital for their exceptional care and support.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday August 11, 2025 at 11 AM at Faith Memorial Church in Lancaster, Ohio with Pastor Karen Kepner officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday August 10, 2025 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home in Lancaster, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to Muscular Dystrophy Association or Fairfield Union Athletic Boosters in form of a check to FUAB to honor the memory of Trent.
