Virginia “Peg” Fisher, age 83 of Lancaster, formerly of Carroll, passed away at Fairfield Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family. Peg was a member of the First Baptist Church of Carroll and had retired from Drew Shoe, Essex (RBM). Peg had also worked as a waitress at Galligar’s Drug Store.
Survived by her son Dudley “Chuck” (Jill) Fisher Jr., grandchildren; Christopher (Candi) Fisher, Nicholas (Emily) Fisher, Adam Fisher, four great-grandchildren and many relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by her husband of 59 years Dudley Fisher Sr.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, January 30th, 2015, at the Haltman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home with Pastor Jason Cordle officiating. Burial will be at Carroll Cemetery. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral Home.
