Vivian Adele Townley Hughes, 97 of Lancaster, passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2021at the Pickering House. Vivian was born September 25, 1923 in Plainfield, NJ to the late Richard Effingham Townley and Edith Elizabeth Mundy Townley.
Vivian is survived by her children, Cheryl (Michael) Poling, Keith (Joy) Hughes, Vance (Cheryl) Hughes and Adrianne Hughes (Diane Stump); 9 grandchildren, Karrie Honchell, Amanda Kish, Stacey Poling, Jessie Liddy, Rachele Salisbury, Jason Hughes, Julie Kelly, Jeanine Hatfield and Brittland Hughes; 17 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband, Robert Edward Hughes and parents.
Private memorial services will be held at a later date. Burial will follow at Amanda Township Cemetery. Cremation has taken place with Halteman-Fett-Dyer Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to FairHoPe Hospice, 282 Sells Road, Lancaster, Ohio 43130
