

Wanda Lou Morrison, 88, the wife of the late Jack Edward Morrison who passed away May 29, 2025, a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great, great grandmother and friend, passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, in the comfort of her home in Lancaster, surrounded by her family. Born on September 29, 1937, in Lancaster, Ohio. Wanda’s life was a testament to love, laughter, and dedication.
Wanda was a woman of many talents and passions. She was a 1955 graduate of Amanda High School. Wanda also enjoyed being involved in the Mother’s Club, 4-H and while living in Florida being a member of the Red Hat Ladies Club. She worked a few years at Lancaster Hospital cafeteria as well as in the cafeteria at Bloom Carroll High School. Wanda’s love for gardening and sewing was apparent to all who knew her. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her three children, Mark (wife Brenda) Morrison of Lancaster, OH, Michael (wife Lisa) Morrison of Port Charlotte, FL and Christine (husband Bernard) Dingman of Harrisburg, PA. She will be deeply missed by her 12 grandchildren: Darcy, Misty, Zach, Lance, Ally, Allison, Haley, Ashton, Trevor, Joe, Michael and Ian. Her 23 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Wanda’s 2 sisters, Shirley Slagle of Buena Park, CA and Carolyn Jackson of Lancaster, OH. Deceased brothers Wayne “Bud” Starner, Dale Starner and her deceased brothers-in-law Neil Slagle and Wayne Jackson. Her memory will live on through her family, whose lives have been enriched by her unwavering love and support.
