Alexander Ewachiw age 77 passed away peacefully on May 26, 2012, surrounded by his loving family. Alex will be remembered by his wife Margaret of 57 years, his children Karen Bowtell (Doug), John Ewachiw (Sandi) and Cheryl Archibald (James), his nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, 2 step-great grandchildren and former son-in-law Steve Stanley (Deb). Alex was born October 10, 1934 on the family farm in Kamsack, SK.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. at Henderson's Langley Funeral Home, 20786 Fraser Highway, Langley, B.C. 604-530-6488.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the B.C. Children's Hospital Foundation.
