OBITUARY

Aline "Lynn" Marie Sigouin

November 18, 1938 – August 2, 2023
Obituary of Aline "Lynn" Marie Sigouin
IN THE CARE OF

Henderson's Langley Funeral Home

Aline Sigouin (b. Marie Clara Aline Carroll), better known to all as Lynn, was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Lynn was born in New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada, on November 18th,1938, to John and Jean Carroll. She was the second of four children, preceded by her brother Richard, and followed by her two sisters, Pauline and Evelyn.

Lynn worked as the Head Cashier for the Newton Super Valu during her young-to-mid adult years, during which time she married her first husband, Maurice Sigouin. Together, they had three wonderful children, Garry, Rick, and Randy. Tragically, Maurice would lose a battle to cancer in 1978. Lynn eventually married Dr. Norman Clark, a dentist from Oregon. Norm, as he was known, became a wonderful partner to Lynn, and loving parent and grandparent to all of her family. Lynn spent her best years living next to the Columbia River in the beautiful desert of Hermiston, Oregon, working as a dental assistant at her husband’s practice. All of her children and grandchildren have very fond memories of visiting them here, giving her the affectionate nickname, “Grandma Oregon”. After Norm passed in 2017, Lynn moved back to BC, living in Langley to be close to her sons. Lynn died on August 2, 2023, after many days of being surrounded by loved ones.
