On Thursday, August 22nd, Andrew (Andy) Rathgeber, loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away peacefully with his wife of 46 years by his side. Survived by his wife Joanne, daughters; Kristin (Darren) Batstone, Elisa (Bob) McNeill, Carolyn (Jesse) Gudjonson and Lexie (Bill) Moore, eleven cherished grandchildren, siblings; Eva Rathgeber, Christine Rathgeber and Christopher (Jody) Rathgeber,
in laws Rose Hay and Pat (Carrie) Grant, as well as many nieces, nephews and their children.
His family will miss the giant family man who always had a joke or popsicle ready for anyone that stopped by but are comforted knowing he lived his life to the fullest and left a legacy that will live on for many generations to come.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking those who feel inclined to donate to the Langley Hospice Society.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday September 28th at 2:00pm at The United Churches of Langley,
21562 Old Yale Rd, Langley, BC.
