

Ben will be deeply missed by his loving partner of 42 years, Diane Karp, whose life he shared with unwavering devotion and companionship.
He leaves behind his cherished children, son Robert and daughter Tracey who will carry forward his legacy and the values he instilled in them. Ben also leaves behind his extended children Ken and Candice.Ben was a proud and loving grandfather to Colten, Tiffany, Avery, Kellan, Caden, Madysun, Andrew, and a great-grandfather to Nori and Eli who have all brought him great joy and happiness.
Ben is also survived by his sister Linda along with her family Carter, Darryl, Curtis, Jessi, and Sawyer—and by his brother Bob along with his family Kathy, Brandon and Natasha.
Ben will also be missed by his close relatives Michi, Lou, George, Chantal and their families.
In addition, Ben shared many meaningful friendships throughout his life. He will be deeply missed by his close friends, whose companionship, laughter, and support were an important part of his life.
Ben will be remembered for his kindness, patience, and the love he gave so freely. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him well and will be missed by many.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the nurses, doctors, and staff at Langley Memorial Hospital for their compassionate care, kindness, and support during Ben’s final days.
A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
