I had the privilege of being one of her students back in 2014. Mrs. Kelly took such pride in fostering growth and curiosity in her students, and it was clear how much she loved her family. I still remember when her husband and daughter would visit the classroom, sharing those special moments with us.

One of the things that stands out to me is the Tree & Me project she helped create with other teachers, where we each took care of a tree. It was a perfect reflection of the care and attention she gave to each of us.

Mrs. Kelly’s love for teaching was evident in everything she did, and she truly made a lasting impact on her students.

I am so sorry for your loss and so devastated to find out of Bonnie’s passing.  Both of my daughters had Mrs. Morrison (my first daughter had her for grade one the year she became Mrs. Kelly) and my 2nd daughter had her the year she became pregnant.  My daughter’s name is Mackenzie and  she was delighted when Mrs. Kelly named her daughter Mackenzie.  I ran into Bonnie just this past November and I told her that my Mackenzie is in University to become a teacher and What a wonderful influence she had been to my Mackenzie and all her students.  She was so loved 💕.

Wes and I are so sorry for your loss of Bonnie.  She was a wonderful person and will be sorely missed.  Our hearts go out to all of your family.  Feel peace in all your wonderful memories.

I couldn't believe that it was the young Bonny I knew from Langley Meadows and then the Langley School District.  She was larger than life, an innovative, dedicated teacher.  Her pleasant personality and commitment to kids shone brightly.   She became my idol even though I was a mature student teacher,  in 1995, at Langley Meadows.  She'll be missed beyond measure both in her occupation and in her family.  I am truly sorry for your loss.

It was a pleasure to work alongside Bonny at Willoughby.  She was a dedicated teacher and a trusted colleague. I will miss her warmth and bright smile. 

My heartfelt sorrow to all the family at the passing of Bonnie.  She was way too young. I always remember her as the full of life, happy smiling  new teacher.  We worked together at Langley Meadows back in Bonnie’s early days of teaching.
