Chuck Hassett passed away peacefully in his home on February 17, 2012. He left us far too young but led a truly fulfilled life. He was an amazing father, an excellent husband, an avid outdoorsman, fisher, hunter, camper, boater, boy scout leader, and so much more... He was a Vancouver Parks Board engineer for over 25 years, and could repair anything from a boiler engine to a refrigeration system (though he could never quite get toasters). He was a considerate caring friend to many, an inspiring leader to those he worked with, and the best husband and father a family could ask for. He is survived by his mother Anne; his wife, Irma; son, Matthew; daughter, Emily; and sister, Dawn. He will be greatly missed.
