Dear Gail: So sorry to hear of your unexpected loss. Dan was a quiet man with a twinkle in his eye. I always enjoyed him as we would joke back and forth at the golf club. He will be missed by so many people. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. Take care of yourself. Big Hugs

I loved playing golf with Dan.  His gruff voice and dry humor were great to hear.  He would also stop by when he was on duty. (Laundry duty) and we would shoot the bull.  Great guy and will be missed. gary  yeutsy

When we think about Rio Bend down south, we have to think of Dan.  Because he was always there!   He did not miss a day on the golf course and we saw him at so many Happy Hours at 4 o'clock.  This past winter he often played his second set of nine holes of the day with us (Erle, Jim and Matt) , obviously having more energy than we had, and we had a chance to get to know him better.  Often Dan did not say a lot, but we got to know that he had an uncanny sense of humour and we had many enjoyable games and "19th hole" discussions.
Our thoughts go out to Gail and family.  We will miss him.
