Our Danny was born August 1/1957 in Longueil, Quebec. The 1st son born to Dale and Barbara Armstrong.
Danny worked as a Sales Manager for Hallmark Poultry in Vancouver BC since the early 90’s. Danny especially loved all sports and collecting sports memorabilia with some unique items. Danny also enjoyed the outdoors and fishing. Danny was an active member of Langley Minor Hockey in the 1970’s, and a winning coach. Danny loved his family, especially his late daughter Christina. He leaves behind his much loved Mother; Barbara and predeceased by his father Dale in 2011. Sister Sandi May (Steve), Sister Lori Waugh, Brother Brian Armstrong, Sister Diane Rempel (Wayne) and many nieces and nephews: all of whom Danny adored.
Danny made many close friends through his years of work, and close friends that remained long after high school. His sense of humor was infectious, and was fast with a pun or sight gag. He had a soft heart, and empathy for those in need and always lent a helping hand, often quietly, behind the scenes.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Danny’s memory can be made to The Canadian Diabetes Association or The Canadian Wildlife Federation.
The Celebration of Danny’s Life will be held at 25353-58th Ave, Aldergrove BC V4W 1G8. August 1st at 1:00.
All are welcome to attend and celebrate Danny’s memory. Luncheon to follow.
The Family would like to thank the amazing Nurses on the Surrey Memorial Hospital Renal Unit for their years of dedicated care of our Danny.
Till we meet again bro!
Love, from your family that misses you more than words can express….
