Darren William Wardell

Darren William Wardell, 57, of Surrey, British Columbia, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2025. Born on February 7, 1968, in Langley, Darren lived a life grounded in love, laughter, and deep devotion to his family.

A successful professional and an outstanding family man, Darren’s greatest legacy was the unwavering love he had for his daughters, Kristina and Chevie, and his deep affection for his grandchildren, who were the light of his life. He adored each of them and would do anything for their happiness. Darren shared an unbreakable bond with his sister, Kim, and cherished every moment spent surrounded by those he held dear.

Known for his sharp wit and dry humor, Darren had a rare gift for bringing joy to everyone around him. His laughter could fill a room, his calm nature could settle any disagreement, and his kindness left an impression on all who knew him.

Darren took great pride in his work and genuinely enjoyed the friendships he built with his coworkers over the years. Whether on the job or spending time with friends and family, he always found a way to make others feel valued, respected, and appreciated.

Though his time with us was too short, his warmth, humor, and compassion will live on through the family and friends who loved him so deeply.

Funeral services will be held at Henderson’s Funeral Home, 20786 Fraser Highway, on Saturday, November 15, at 11:00 a.m., followed by a celebration of life at the Horse & Ryder Pub, 20699 42 Ave, Langley.
