

Dave was born to parents, Nan and David A Perry on April 4, 1941 and grew up in Lancer, Saskatchewan. He was older brother to Don and Pat.
Dave joined the RCMP and rode in the musical ride in his younger years. He retired from the RCMP after over 30 years of service in B.C. He found a new career helping people as a driver for Handy Dart for another 12 years before fully retiring.
Dave met Joan Bantly, on a blind date while she was in nursing school at St Paul’s hospital in 1967. They were married for 52 years. He was a loving husband and father to 3 daughters, Charlene, Cheryl & Debbie. He welcomed son in laws Colin, Dave, and Peter into the family. He was a beloved grandpa to Erin, Lauren, Claire, Jack, Olivia, Nathan & Lucas.
Dave was an amazing gardener and spent hours working in his garden and watching the birds and hummingbirds that visited. He loved golfing and square dancing. And he loved watching all sports, especially fond of hockey, football, his team Saskatchewan Roughriders, baseball and golf.
“We’ll always remember that special smile, that caring heart, that warm embrace, you always gave us. You being there for mom and us through good and bad times, no matter what. We'll always remember you Dad because they’ll never be another one to replace you in our hearts, and the love we will always have for you. “
Friends and family will cherish every memory with Dave. He will forever be missed and forever be loved.
