Dorothy Agnes Batista

She was 98 years old, born in 1924 in Wiseton Saskatchewan to Hazel and Robert Elliot.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband Armando of 57 years, her son Robert (Bob), her sisters Ruth and Kathryn, brothers Bill, Geary and Jack. Dorothy is survived by her sons Pat and David, daughter Darlene, 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, cousins, many nieces and nephews and their families. Her greatest joy was to be in the company of her family. Dorothy spent many years enjoying travelling with Armando in their motorhome. They explored all over Canada and the USA. She enjoyed knitting, playing cards and bingo, doing crosswords, watching her programs on TV, cooking and made the best desserts and preserves. She was caring, friendly and very determined as she managed to live independently up until her recent short stay in the hospital.

A funeral service will be held on December 16, 2022 at 11:00 am at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 20676 Fraser Hwy, Langley. Burial to follow at 1:00 pm Garden of Gethsemani, 15694 32 Ave, Langley.
