Douglas Pyatt December 24, 1952 - August 14, 2014 After a courageous battle with cancer, Doug passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on August 14, 2014. He was the devoted husband of 37 years to Leslie, loving father to Bryan (Nicole), Niki (Tony) and Dean; and adoring Papa to his grandsons Lleyton, Dane, Eli, Maxum and Quinn. Doug was predeceased by his mother (Marjorie), father (Frederick) and brothers Garnett, Jack, Barry and Jamie. Doug will be greatly missed by his three sisters Donna, Sally and Maureen; surviving brothers Beau and David, and his loving extended family. Doug was an avid golfer, and enjoyed traveling and family vacations. Doug was a proud employee of BDL for 44 years, until his retirement in 2012. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 28 at 1 p.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church 20676 Fraser Highway, Langley, with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the BC Children's Hospital.
