Jim was truly a special soul. We had the pleasure of knowing both Jim and Madge thru volunteering at Saint Matthew’s soup kitchen. After 8:30 morning mass we would gather to check up on one another and always leave with a smile. We last saw Jim when he was getting ready to leave Fraser Heights to make the move to Langley. His presence was truly missed at St Matthew’s. May he rest in peace .

To Jim's family,
Although Mort & I never had the pleasure of meeting any of you, we were so sorry  to hear of Jim's passing, and want to send our sincere sympathy to you all.
Over the years we were privileged to spend lots of fun times with Jim and Madge at many special times like Len and Jeana's special anniversary parties, other family events,  and at many sausage making gatherings.  The stories were always plentiful and  hilarious, and we had many laughs and discussions around that dining room table, in that lovely, hospitable home on Orchard Ridge in Vernon.  Jim was one funny man!!
We have lost another of the truly good ones, and even though we know that this is the way of life, it doesn't make such a loss any easier. 
Know that he's been welcomed with open arms by all of the family, other loved ones and the many friends that have gone before.
Jim was a kind, soft spoken, and a gentle man,  (in both senses of that 
term), and we send you our heartfelt condolences at this difficult time.  His loss, and that of my brother Len, has left our world a poorer place.

Dear Family: 
So very sorry to hear of the passing of Jim.  Tony and I used to talk about the many happy memories we had with the Correale's,  Jim and Madge and many others.  Such happy times but with the shut down of the main depot in Nelson and many transferred to the west, we were always put on the Calgary list - which meant we did not meet with those dear friends as often as we would have liked. 
Tony passed away in November 2022., just one month short of his 
101 year birthday, but am sure there is a great gathering of many dear friends from the 'good old days'. 
Jim and Madge were a wonderful couple and we always were so pleased to call them our friends. 
Please accept our deepest sympathy and so sorry we did not get to meet all of you . You will miss your folks very much, but  am sure they left you  with many happy memories.

To Theresa & family, Michael & family, Joni & family, Donna & family:
There is no doubt in my mind that two buddies are having a reminiscing good time about now.  Friends since they were teenagers, Jim and Len didn't do much without the other.  The stories they told on each other about Greyhound road trips kept us in stitches time and time again.  We had many wonderful holidays with Jim and Madge, Jim was always reading autobiographies usually about famous or infamous Italians and he would tell us the highlights at happy hour with his own comical sense of humor.  They always came to Vernon for our annual wine and sausage making weekend just another fun time!!  In later years when Jim suffered from anxiety Madge would tell him to phone Len when at the end of the call he would say "I don't know why but I feel better!" Madge really knew her man!!  After we lost Len, I was very touched that he continued to call me and we would reminisce all the really good times the four of us had enjoyed.  He was a true friend and will be truly missed by the Correale family, Love to you all, Jeana

There were very few people at Greyhound who impressed me as much as Jim did. His off -beat sense off humour was something I really looked forward to whenever I pulled a Greyhound  bus into the Langley  Agency. I will certainly miss reminiscing with him the good old days of Greyhound during the annual Christmas parties held by Marylin Scott every year.  Rest in peace  Jim!   

 I knew him as a kind and sweet man who welcomed everyone into his home . He loved having company and good food and chatting or watching baseball with his family. 
He was always wanting to help if he could his deep sense of charity was something he and Madge shared they were a great team. I loved being there with them both Baba shared many stories with me I’m so thankful to have had the opportunity to be part of his amazing  family .He will always be in my heart and I can still hear him saying we should go for a drive. Love and hugs to all my family and Baba hug Mom for me and Christopher too .
