Gloria Vander Schaaf, born August 12, 1947 passed away peacefully at her Fort Langley home on January 7, 2020.
She is survived by her loving Mother, Margaret Stewart, her nephew Angus Stewart and cousins Rita, Momi and Helen as well as many relatives throughout Canada. She is loved by close friends and partners in American Cartage and in the transportation industry where she worked for over 50 years. She was a loyal service partner to the construction and building trades and the many people she employed in the gardening and service industries. She is predeceased by her husband Reg and her brother Robbie. Gloria wishes were for a small private graveside service at the Fort Langley Cemetery. This will be held on January 15, 2020. A Celebration of her Life will be held at Fort Langley Golf Course, 9782 McKinnon Crescent, Langley, B.C. on Saturday, February 29, 2020 from 12:30 to 5 pm. Light lunch and refreshments provided.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to BC Cancer Society or to a charity of your choice.
