Hey Grant, its been a while. Missing you lots. Still crying my eyes out when i think of you. The other week on halo and xbox's 20th year anniversary they released the multiplayer for the new Halo early and i spent the whole day playing it with you're favorite toque on.
Today they finally released Halo infinite and i cried a lot. Its not right playing halo without you. Its everything you always told me you wanted in a halo game and it pains me that your not able to play it but im gonna enjoy every second of it for you. There's already point where ive had to pause and stop to cry about you cuz i don't know any other way to let what im feel out at the moment. I didnt get a chance to go down south and stop by the pond to say hi and see how the ducks their are doing and i hate myself for it, I promise ill come visit you soon. We got a awesome male duck now that we named after you, you'd love the flock and the new property. Wish you were here to see it and how beautiful it is here. I love and miss you so much. Everyday is so hard without you here. Brandon and I went to visit your pond on Tuesday. It really is a sweet little spot. I can see why you enjoyed it so much. Brandon said the ducks had all grown a ton since he was last there with you. We cried our hearts out and hugged each other on your bridge. Brandon told me stories about your ducks and your beavers. Looks like they're working on that damn again. Glad your ashes are in such a lovely spot. We will come visit you again on February 23rd. Before your Celebration of Life Ceremony. Oh Grant...these emotions are so strong. When I think of you and laugh, I laugh with all my soul... When I think of you and cry, I cry with all my heart! We still can't believe it! It still doesn't feel real...but then all of a sudden it feels way too real and my world comes crashing down again! I keep picturing you laughing...then ranting, then laughing...laughing so hard the tears were flowing! I love you! Brandon loves you! Ed loves you! Sohkey, Assassin & Mikey love you! Oh Grant... Danielle was one of my best friends in high school and I spent a lot of time at the house with her and Grant. I remember lots of great conversations with Grant.  He taught me about classic rock! He always made me laugh! The best concert ever was Pink Floyd '94, with Danielle, Grant and Milan. I always thought it was great that Danielle had Grant in her life,  they really cared about each other and were quite the comedy team, lol! I know Grant will be greatly missed, loved dearly by his chosen family.

I got to meet Grant when he was living in rootin' tootin' Newton with Danielle, Ed, and Brandon. He was always super chilled and friendly and when he talked to you it was just as if he had always known you. I'm glad to have known Grant, and would like to thank him for being a such a great friend to Brandon and uncle to Danielle. You are already missed. Rest well.

Grant was always welcoming when I saw him. I was a young adult coming over to see Danielle and Grant would always have us laughing before we went out the door. I remember chatting with him about many different things in life and his outlook. 

Grant, you are a wonderful soul. Danielle, Milan, Heidi and their families have lost a man who was very loved and meant alot to all of them. My heart is with you. 

Grant was an amazing man, one of the most humorous, and caring people i ever knew. I loved going over and spend the week at his place relaxing and hanging out. Im really gonna miss my gaming buddy and all the jokes we told and stories we laughed about. Im glad i got to spend all my time with you that i did and all i want is you back.  you will always be missed and remember. Grant, you are going to be missed immensely. The people left behind who mattered most to you feel your absence achingly. Your light hasn’t really left this world, it has only dimmed enough to be carried by all who lovingly remember you. I wish comfort and healing to your loved ones (keeping in mind that sometimes “loved ones” aren’t biological relations). 

I grew up with Uncle Grant - my Dad’s best friend and partner in crime. He was more of an uncle to me than any blood relative. He was always around, and he often endured my sister and I’s brattiness and teasing with gentle good humor. 

He had the best sense of humor of any one that I’ve known. He used to get so worked up about things like politics, and then he’d do a 180 and be back to his lighthearted and witty self. 

He was a good man, and I’m honored to have known him. Not only for the significant role that he played in my Dad’s life, but for his presence in mine. I am sad that he’s gone. 😭

I will always love you Uncle Grant. ❤️

Grant was a very comedic, loving person with a huge heart. He loved his best buddy and fellow video gamer, Brandon, his niece, Brandon's mom, Danielle and her husband Edward. We are at a loss without him.  His lifelong friend Milan is beside himself with grief. They met in Highschool. Grant had many hobbies and interests through out his life. He was soo much more than just video games and weed!!!! 
I will share stories as time goes on. Be ready to laugh!!!
