It is with profound sadness and love that we announce the peaceful passing of Harold Lloyd Limpright, who left this world on March 9, 2026, at the venerable age of 93. Born on November 21, 1932, in Dominion City, Manitoba, Harold's life was a testament to grace, dedication, and quiet strength.
Harold was the beloved son of Paul Robert Limpright and Olga Limpright (née Sauder), and he was predeceased by his cherished parents and siblings, Edward, Arnold, George, Archie, and Frieda. He leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion through his surviving family members: his devoted wife of 69 years, Miriam Joyce Limpright (née Jackson), his sons Ivan (Patricia), Randolph (Todd), and Robyn (Maria), as well as his daughters Debra (Leo) and Diane (Joe). Harold's legacy continues through his 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, who will forever hold his memory in their hearts.
In October of 1956, Harold married the love of his life, Miriam, and together they built a life filled with warmth, family, and mutual respect. Harold was known to many as "The Manure King," a testament to his entrepreneurial spirit and his nearly 50-year career as a dedicated equipment operator. His commitment to his work was matched only by his love for his family and his faith.
A lifelong member of the Lutheran church, Harold's quiet, respectful, and resolved nature made him a pillar of his community. His faith guided him throughout his life, providing strength and comfort in times of need. Harold also found joy and solace in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was a day spent fishing or the satisfaction of operating heavy equipment, pursuits that brought him happiness and peace.
The family extends their heartfelt thanks to the caregivers at the TRIM who provided compassionate care for Harold in his final months. Your kindness and dedication will never be forgotten.
A service to honor and celebrate Harold's life will be held on March 28, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Henderson's Funeral Home in Langley. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, a cause close to Harold's heart.
Harold's life was a tapestry woven with threads of love, perseverance, and quiet dignity. As we say goodbye, we hold onto the memories and the legacy he leaves behind—a legacy that will continue to inspire and guide us in the years to come.
