

Jacques grew up in Saint-Vallier his five surviving brothers Jean, Alain, Gaston , Silvain and Joel and 1 late brother Mario . Two surviving sisters Nicole and France and 1 late sister Lynn, children of Roger and Jeannine Laprise.
Jacques lived in Surrey for 43 years. In that time developed a passion for fishing, Camping and Gardening! Always looking for a garage sale or flea market he collected various lawn mowers, bikes and other equipment he took great pride fixing discarded items he found on the side of the road.
Jacques took great pride in his incredible garden there was always an abundance of delicious tomatoes and vegetables! He loved sharing with his family & friends he definitely had a green thumb.
Jacques enjoyed watching cooking shows and experimenting with his own creative dishes in the kitchen. His culinary adventures brought both skepticism and excitement to his family and friends, who eagerly awaited his latest creations. Those around him could only wonder what his next dish would be.
An avid audiophile, Jacques could often be found in the front room, blasting his rock 'n' roll music while enjoying his vices. His love for music was infectious, and his diverse taste enriched the lives of those around him.
Jacques met the love of his life, Marie, in Richmond, BC, and they were married in 1985. Together, they built a life in Surrey with their three children filled with love, laughter, and countless memories.
Jacques dedicated over four decades to his career, working at Janitors Warehouse, Savolite, M-Chem and Bunzl. He was known for his dedication, hard work, and the positive impact he had on his colleagues, always trying to make people laugh.
Jacques will be remembered for his kindness, sense of humor, and unwavering support for his family. He was a pillar of strength and a source of inspiration to all who knew him. His love and guidance will be deeply missed by his wife, Marie; his sons, Steven and Daniel; and his daughter, Michelle.
A celebration of Jacques's life will be held on June 21 at 1 PM at Henderson's Langley Funeral Home 20786 Fraser Hwy, Langley, BC. Friends and family are invited to attend and share their memories.
Jacques's legacy of love, dedication, and kindness will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. His memory will be cherished.
