JARVIS, Bernice (Joan) Johanna (nee Bauman); Entered into rest at Langley October 28, 2014 at the age of 79. Joan was born December 13, 1934 in Southey Saskatchewan to Johanna (Jenny) and John Bauman. Joan was predeceased by her loving husband Gordon (Corky) Jarvis in 2010 and son James Jarvis 2013. She will be lovingly remembered by her children Jo Ann (Dennis) Groves, Bob (Frances) Jarvis and Cathy (Doug) Driediger her grandchildren Scott (Lori Ann) Groves, Lisa (David) Ellis, Sharlene Groves, Cameron (Margaret) Groves, Johnny Jarvis, Danny Jarvis, Gordie Jarvis, Jaime (Nicki) Jarvis, Jennifer Jarvis, Travis (Jackie) Kinakin, Kristie (Carey) Pott, eleven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Joan will also be sadly missed by her sisters Agatha Hertz, Wilma Very and her brothers Donald (Lynne) Bauman, John (Cheryl) Bauman.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Henderson's Langley Funeral Home 20786 Fraser Highway October 31, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Canada 20 Eglinton Ave W #1600, Toronto, ON M4R 1K8.
