

June 3, 1918 – April 3, 2010
It is with great sadness we announce that John B. Stephenson (Jack, Stevie) passed away peacefully at Langley Memorial Hospital on April 3, 2010 at 91 years of age. He was born and raised in the Collingwood area of Vancouver. He worked for many years as a milkman, later becoming employed for 28 years at Woodward’s as a truck driver. He is survived by his loving wife Maud of 69 years, daughters Maudie and Joanne Giampa (Frank), grandchildren Susan, Christa, John and Cheryl, great grandchildren Meagan and Samantha, sister-in law Doris White (100 years of age), as well as many relatives and friends. His passion was his roses and gardening, cars, sports and family, especially the love of his life, Maud. He loved to lend a helping hand and he had a heart of gold. Thank you to Dr. Kenneth Ng, Dr. Van Shagen, and the nursing staff at 4 South for your care and support and to the staff at Langley Seniors Care Centre for always being there to help Dad. A Celebration of Life will be held at Henderson’s Funeral Home, 20786 Fraser Highway in Langley on Thursday, April 8 at 2:00 p.m.
