Members of the Knights of Columbus Council 2552 in Langley wish to pass on our condolences to John's family. He was a long time brother in our council and we are all sad to hear of his passing.

Mildred my thoughts are with you and Shawnee wishing you both courage,peace,
and good memories. John had a wicked sense of humour and that is what I shall choose to remember.

Unfortunately I could not get to the funeral today, but I wanted to pass on my deepest condolences to you and your family.  John and I served together in Nanaimo, where John was highly regarded as a fine policeman, a man of high integrity, a thinker, and of course a very dedicated and depended upon dogmaster.  While we rarely crossed paths after Nanaimo, John stood out in my memory as someone I always compared other dogmasters to.   Treasure your memories of John for our lives are far too short and go by so quickly.
