Dear Markita and family....I have been away and didn't make the family connection until just now. I am so sorry for your loss and words I'm sure cannot express how you all are feeling. Kassandra, although I did not know her, I'm sure was a wonderful young woman ready to live life to the fullest. Such a senseless shame it was cut so short.
Hopefully you remember me and everyone from the old Wednesday night BC Hydro Bowling League at T&C. May I, on behalf of our now defunct league, express our sincerest condolences to you and your family. Remember the wonderful times, although far too short, you had with your daughter. She was obviously a very special young woman.

What a tragic and sad loss of such a wonderful and vibrant young woman. Kassandra was always so kind to Cody's little cousin, Jean. We are so sad that we were not able to get to know Kassandra better.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Dear Markita & family, I want to express my sincerely condolences to all of you. Even though I didn't know your lovely Kassandra, loosing her must be the worst pain a family can experience. Markita, having known you, Sherri, and your dear Mother Bobbie all my life in West Vancouver, I wanted to send my thoughts and sentinments to you. May time give you the strength to heal and I admire you for having the strength to bring your tragedy to the forefront. Again, my most sincere sympathy to all of you.

now that I am older, I realize the truly good teammates I've had over the years. I always appreciated how selfless you were in cheering your heart out for me when I was pitching instead of you. I believe that the kind of teammate you are is indicative of what kind of person you truly are, and you simply excelled. I feel so lucky to have played along side such an exquisite person and I will never ever forget you. I promise to live the rest of my life spreading as much love and support as I can, because I know that is what you would have done. I'm so sorry that you had to die so young, but know that you made an enormous impact on my life. It's hard but I will not let the sadness of your death overshadow my happiness from being a part of your life. You were something special, more than you'll ever know.
