

Keith James Marty, 80, passed away on February 13, 2025, in Langley, British Columbia. Born on October 27, 1944, in Portage La Prairie, Manitoba, Keith lived a life marked by dedication, adventure, and spirited nature.
Throughout his career, Keith wore many hats. He served as a volunteer firefighter, demonstrating his commitment to helping others in times of need. His passion for mechanics and the sea led him to become the chief engineer of a ship for Imperial Oil. Additionally, he earned his pilot's license, reflecting his love for exploration and mastery of new skills.
Keith had a deep appreciation for travel and embraced opportunities to see the world. He also had a keen interest in racehorses and enjoyed time spent at the casino. His talent for brass fabrication showcased his creativity and craftsmanship. Keith was a self-taught pianist and had a true love for music.
He was known for his generosity, kindness, and sharp sense of humour. His presence brought warmth and laughter to family gatherings and friendships alike. Keith is survived by his brothers Wayne, Scott, Ken, and Joe; his sister Sandra; as well as many nieces and nephews who will cherish his memory. He was predeceased by his wife Paulette, his son Matthew, and his brother Neil.
Keith will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him. May his memory bring comfort to those who loved him.
