Dear Avril. I have just now discovered that Kevin passed away. I am very sad as I lost contact with both of you some time ago and never managed to regain that contact. Please accept my condolences to you and your family. I have been living in Worcester UK since 1992 and so have not been in contact with any of our mutual friends in Ireland in the last several years. For as long as I can remember he was there, He cared only for me & Tim, we were his world. His name was Kevin and he was my Dad, He was the one I got to do all the fun things with. Sometimes he was silly, He was always fun, I don't know why he had to leave so soon, I still need him ... So does Tim! That day I lost my Dad ... A huge part of my world ... We met Kevin through Scouting, 3rd Central Surrey, when our kids were both involved.  Kevin, you were a role model for those young men, and you did a great job with them.  Will never forget the camping trips, both family weekends and Leader weekends.  Every time we came back to Surrey you made a point of getting together with us.  You will be greatly missed Kevin, and our hearts go out to Tim and Rebecca.  Our condolences to the entire  famy

Working alongside Kevin for 28 years or so, it was as if we were a family.  We would see each other more than we would our real families.  Kevin's countless stories and jokes over the years made work more memorable.  Around the shop there will always be reminders, outside the shop I'll always remember the way it was.  Blackie

Myself and Kevin were work partners for the past 18 years,if he saw i was busy or going to lunch he was always willing to finish up my job.he also fixed a lot of stuff around the shop, and one of the  many things i've noticed since he's been gone is he always had that coffee ready for us when we got in, were going to miss you Kev RIP

Kevin always had a story to tell, and was right there ready to listen when I needed someone to.  I am so thankful for all I learned from him over the past 14 years.    Kevin, you have left a legacy that will live on through all the hearts you have touched.  Your compassion, smile, and laughter will be greatly missed.

Kevin , when I heard the news I was overwhelmed with a terrible  sadness , I had known you since I was 15 years old , since we first came to B.C. 
You were a very close family friend , I will never forget how encouraging and supportive of me you were and how you always managed to make me smile with your wit and humour . You were a truly kind , generous and selfless person and I will miss you very much , I have such fond memories of you and you were like a part of my family . I am so very sorry Rebecca , Tim and Avril , you all have my thoughts and my love through this difficult process . Kevin you are departed from this earth but not from my memory or my heart ..I hope you find peace wherever you are now .

Kevin I had the privledge of working with you for 23 years. Not only were you a hard worker you were such an amazing and caring man. Rebecca and Tim are so lucky to have had you as a dad you were such a devoted dad. Not only that you embraced my family when I moved here from Ontario. Kevin you were an amazing man you were so dedicated to your kids and your family . I worked with Kevin for 5 years and it was such a joy to know him.  If you ever needed a good laugh, Kevin was right there to make you smile!  He always thought of others and would do anything for anybody when needed....he was so generous and such a caring man to his family who meant more than anything to him.  While our hearts ache and we miss you Kev, we know Heaven gained an angel and you are dancing your jig you always did on this St Paddy's Day!! Rest In Peace buddy :)

I was deeply shocked to hear of Kevin's passing. I worked alongside Kevin for 20-25 years, ever since BASF amalgamated with Bowers, its as if we were brothers. My deepest sympathies to Tim and Rebecca and the rest of his family. keep your tip up and your line tight in the big lake up above. rest in peace friend

I am a co-worker of Kevin's and know that the plant will miss his decades of knowledge. He loved his family and would talk about the pleasantries in his life like bowling with his daughter or pride in his son's accomplishments in building his career up north. Myself and another co-worker that briefly met him raised a pint to his memory on the 11th and I'll likely repeat this again tomorrow on St. Paddy's Day. My condolences go out to his family.
