

Lupe was born on December 2, 1939, the eldest of 11 brothers and sisters, in rancho La Fundicion, Nayarit, Mexico to Trinidad Aguayo and Maria del Refugio Aguayo Ron. She lived a full life growing up on the ranch, eventually moving to Guadalajara to become a nurse, followed by immigrating to Canada to start a family with her husband Jan.
Lupe’s kindness, generosity, loyalty and dedication to her faith and family will be the forefront memory in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Lupe is survived by her husband Jan, son Alex, daughter-in-law Caroline, grandson Kieran and granddaughter Kieva. She will remain in the hearts, memories and prayers of her extended family both in Mexico and Canada.
A service to honor Lupe’s life will be held on April 8th at 11:00 am at St. Joseph’s Church in Langley. Interment will be at Langley Lawn, followed by the reception at St. Joseph’s Hall.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of B.C in Lupe’s memory.
