

Robert Beauchamp of Surrey, BC passed naturally and peacefully at age 86 while at the Village Care Home in Langley. Our heartfelt gratitude to the staff for their exceptional care and compassion through the last couple of years.
Bob was the youngest and last of 7 siblings. He was predeceased by his wife of 57 years Victoria (2015).
He was the Father of 5; Kathy (Don) Jellen, Stephen (Teresa), James (Kelly), Michele (Martin) Cote, and Paul. Daughters in Law; Wendy, Maria and Lisa. 9 Grandchildren; Matthew (Aivy), Stephanie (Travis), Amy, Taelore, Tessa (2012), Rachel (Brandon), Bridgette, Lucas, Cairo, and 3 great grandchildren; Jacob, Liam, & Mason.
He was so proud and supportive of his large family. His sporting loves were baseball and basketball. He Coached and volunteered his time through many charities including Special Olympics.
Bob was a kind and thoughtful man always willing to help others. The creator of Dad jokes before there were Dad jokes, and quick to smile.
Upon leaving UBC he became a customer service manager at BC Tel for 31 years then at age 51 left to pursue his passion developing his property and building houses, acquiring the nickname “Builder Bob”.
In full retirement he enjoyed the good life commuting between Palm Springs and Little Shuswap Lake with wife Vicki and their beloved dogs.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Matthew's Parish, 16079 88 Avenue, Surrey, BC V4N 1G3, on Tuesday October 4, 2022 at 1:00pm with A Celebration of Life to follow in the Jubilee Hall at St. Matthew's.
