Bob (Robert) Brand, born January 25, 1942, in Vancouver BC, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2014 after a long battle with Supranuclear palsy. Bob leaves to be with his mother Nora and his father Harold. He is survived by his beloved wife Doreen, daughters Teresa Ralph (Kevin), Susie Brand (Eric), Annette Lebus (Scott), Kimberly Murphy Brand (Bruce), grandchildren Ryan (Jen) and Steven (Rachel) Ralph, Melissa, Stephanie and Bradley Lebus, Alexandra, Olivia, Georgia, and Victoria Murphy and sister Nonie Brand along with good friends. Bob loved bowling, dancing, skiing, and pickle ball. He was a wonderful person and much fun to be around. We know that when there's thunder, it is Bob bowling up in heaven. Special thanks to the UBC Purdy Pavilion for taking such great care of our beloved Bob. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the UBC brain research centre.
