Robert William Frend

FREND, Robert William Aged 73 years, passed away on May 14, 2011 after a year of health setbacks. He is sadly missed by his devoted wife; Joyce, daughters; Sandra Hein (Calvin), Patty Brnjac (Mike) and son Brett (Lena). Grandchildren; Samantha, Curtis and Spencer Frend, Andrew Hein, Claire and Michael Brnjac will miss their grandpa very much. He was a wonderful big brother to Doug (Pat), Bruce (Eleanor), Margaret Gilbertson and Donna (Ken) Belrose and was uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was the beloved thorn amongst the roses with his mother-in-law; Mary Todorovich, and sisters-in-law ;Kay Evoy and Grace Johnson. He was predeceased by his parents Ted and Lillian Frend, sister Sheila and brothers-in-law Ron Gilbertson and Don Evoy. Bob fought a good fight for a year but is now finally home. A memorial will be held at Henderson's Langley Funeral Home, 20786 Fraser Hwy, Langley, BC on Saturday, May 21 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the BC Heart and Stroke Foundation.
