MACDONALD, Ronald JosephJuly 31, 1920 - November 18, 2013Ron passed away peacefully on November 18th, 2013 predeceased by his beloved wife Margaret and beautiful daughter Kathleen. Ron leaves to mourn his 7 children Mary-Lou (Andy), Russell (Pat), Kathleen's husband (Bill), Barbara (Jim), Ron (Sylvia), Peggy (Tim), and Ken (Tanya). His 16 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews throughout Canada and the U.S will dearly miss him.
Ron, born and raised in P.E.I. was the third youngest of 14 children born to Columba and Barbara MacDonald. Ron was the last surviving member of his family. He moved to the West Coast following 5 years of service with the Canadian Air Force. He met the love of his life, Margaret Chisholm in Vancouver, BC. They married and raised 7 children together. Ron was a proud businessman and a devout Catholic.
Vigil Prayers will be held Thursday, November 28th 8:00 PM and Mass of Christian Burial Friday, November 29th 10:00 AM at St. Joseph's Parish, 20676 Fraser Hwy. Langley, BC. We will always love and cherish you Dad. Rest in Peace.
