On Monday, February 24, 2020, Ron Spencer, loving father of three daughters and awesome grandfather of seven grandchildren, passed away at age 78. Ron was born on March 5, 1941 in Rossland, BC to Frank and Martha (Grimard) Spencer.
He loved carpentry and worked as a superintendent, building many schools and commercial buildings throughout B.C. He was known for his masterful storytelling and we will all miss the great tales about his many adventures.
Ron had a passion for woodcrafts and spent his retirement years happily working in his workshop at the Lee farm. It was important to him to have handcrafted gifts for his entire family at Christmas.
Ron was predeceased by his parents and his daughter, Darlene (Casey). He is survived by his daughter Shelley (Dwain), Lisa, and his seven grandchildren.
"A memorial service will be held at Henderson's Langley Funeral Home at 20786 Fraser Hwy, Langley City, B.C. V3A 4G6 at a future date and time yet to be determined."
