Ruth Munro

Ruth passed away unexpectedly at home, with family by her side, at the age of 82. Predeceased by her husband, Norm, she leaves behind her children, Doug and Leah (with son-in-law Eric), brother Paul (Beryl), nieces, nephews and grandchildren.

She was a proud and loving grandma to Lauren, Jack and Harper, who were truly the light of her life. Ruth was always deeply engaged and immensely proud of her grandchildren’s accomplishments, particularly in sports and academics. Their achievements brought her immense joy, and she never hesitated to share that pride with others. Family was the center of Ruth’s world, and she always cherished the time spent with loved ones, finding her greatest joy in their happiness and well-being.

Ruth had a warm and genuine interest in the lives of those around her. She listened closely, remembered details, and made everyone feel valued and important. She will be profoundly missed by all who loved her.

A Celebration of Ruth’s life will be planned.
