Svend Jensen

Svend Jensen passed away peacefully, with family by his side, on February 20, 2022 in Langley, B.C.

Svend was born on May 17, 1937 in Herning, Denmark. He immigrated in 1964 with his wife Else and their 4 children. Their family was complete 4 years later with the birth on their 5th child. Svend worked for Canada Safeway, where he made many lifelong friends, until his retirement in 1997.

Svend is predeceased by his parents and his sister Anna, and by his beloved daughter Susanne (Allan). He is survived by his childhood sweetheart and wife of 65 years, Else, by his daughter Dorthe (Dan), his 3 sons Allan (Brenda), Kenn (Anita), Michael (Tiffanny), 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
