Ted is survived by his loving wife Wille Vander Hoek; children Owen & (Barb) Vander Hoek, Steve & (Jackie) Vander Hoek, Margaret & (Fred) Kunst, Ted Jr. & (Megan) Vander Hoek, Bryan & (Christie) Vander Hoek, Grant & (Jill) Vander Hoek; His sister Grace (Sam) Post. He is also survived by his 22 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents Oscar & Leona Vander Hoek, brother Bert, Ed & twin brother Melvin Vander Hoek.
Ted was born on July 2, 1942 in Rinsumageast, Friesland Netherlands to Oscar & Leona Vander Hoek. Together with his parents and 4 siblings emigrated to Canada and settled in Abbotsford B.C
He married Willie Veenstra in Smithers B.C on May 1, 1963. They moved to the Fraser Valley where they raised 6 children.
He will be missed by his family and many friends in the community.
A Celebration of Life will be held to celebrate Ted’s life in the coming days.
