

HELDMAN, W. Wallace William (Little Wally), age 85 years of Armstrong, B.C. went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 23, 2011. He was born on April 30, 1926 in Philipsburg, Ontario and was the son of the late Elmore and Viola Heldman. He was predeceased by his first wife Pauline Mavis Heldman in 1981. He was the oldest of 5 siblings, Marcella (Samuel) Johnston, Vernon Heldman, survived by Shirley (Chris) Lohmer and Ruth (Joe) Szewezyk, sister-in-law Mabel Heldman. He will be lovingly remembered by his family; daughters Barbara (Ray) Blais, Diane (Robert) Melville; son Douglas (Judy) Heldman; grandchildren Natasha (Jason) Worby, Rebecca (Scott) Neil, Desirae Blais, Joy Blais, Joshua Heldman, Caitlyn (Robert) Christianson, James Melville, Jared Heldman, nieces Nancy, Julie and Audra; nephews Bruce, Jim, David, Douglas, Steven, Kenneth, Daniel and Jeffrey and Marjorie Heldman. He worked for Schneiders Meat Packing company in Kitchener, Ontario. For 15 years he was the owner/manager/caregiver of Heldman Home for Special Needs in White Rock, BC. He loved the Lord, his family and friends, his gardens and orchards. He loved people and loved to entertain company, go fishing, boating and water skiing. He will be sorely missed by all of us but he is now safe in the arms of Jesus. A Celebration of Life was held on Friday, June 3, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. at Henderson's Langley Funeral Home, 20786 Fraser Hwy.
