It is with a very heavy heart we announce the passing of Mr. Warren “the cowboy” Jensen. Born in Victoria, BC on July 9th, 1964. Long time resident of Langley, BC. Son to Ron & Carol Jensen. Warren is survived by his loving mother Carol Jensen, his beloved partner Angela, his children Kyle Nimmo, Caitlin Nimmo and Wyatt Jensen. Along with his brother, Kristofor Jensen and four nieces Taylor Ormiston, Saige Fontaine, Abigail Jensen and Kyla Bloome.
Warren was a man with many friends and had the amazing ability to make each person feel unique and remarkable. His fun and loving attitude never left anyone out of his scope. He had a deep voice with an infectious laugh that would vibrate throughout the building. His passion came in many forms. Warren was well respected amongst his industry peers. He was known as an innovator and tough negotiator. His handshake really meant something and his infectious personality always won folks over. Maximum Collision, his baby and a state-of-the-art repair shop, known to families (generations) in the White Rock, Surrey, Langley. Abbotsford and Fraser Valley area. His employees stayed with him throughout the 30+ years because he cared for them and treated them as extended family.
Another love of his was his affection for horses, mostly Arabs and his favorite big dog being the St. Bernard. Warren, a true cowboy bred Arabs. You would often see him trail riding in his white cowboy hat and tassel jacket in the Campbell valley park along with a posse, saddlebags filled with ice, Budweiser and beef jerky. All the necessities to make an adventure, often ending up at the Artful Dodger for a dinner.
Boating was another avid interest of Warren's. His love for the water was obvious. He would offer people the opportunity to go out on the ocean and just enjoy the water, fireworks and visit islands. Some of his favourite times were going to his cabin in the Narrows Inlet on Sunshine Coast. The “Good Times” was his last boat which had (as all his boats) the most amazing stereo system. They were truly the “GOOD TIMES” every single trip with Warren.
Music for Warren was a necessity. He had massive parties with live bands, having many well-known bands evolve from these epic parties. Parties were intended to bring fun into people’s life – kids, grandmas, cowboys, all walks of life. Warren was a patron of the arts in his own way. He proudly supported musical acts from the novice to expert levels.
There are many other stories, interests of Warrens – way too many to list. He was a legend, a man of authenticity, generosity and sincerity – a man that we will all miss tremendously and possibly aspire to be more like.
