William Joseph Robert Griffiths

He is lovingly remembered by his wife Carole of 63 years, his children, Susan (Shawn), Jenny, Kathy (Mark), 10 grandchildren and his great grandchildren Dreyden and Kinley.

He will be deeply missed by many close friends, neighbours, nieces, nephews & cousins.

Bill was born and raised in Vancouver, BC. Bill married Carole in 1959 and moved to Surrey in the early 60’s. He started work at BC Ferries in 1961. While working for BC Ferries, Bill was proud to be a volunteer firefighter for Surrey during the 60’s and 70’s.

Bill started raising his family in Surrey and eventually moving the family to Langley in the early 80's. Bill retired from BC Ferries as a Marine Engineering Officer in 1995 after 35 years. Bill was a caring, loving, hard working man. He had a sense of humour that lit up a room whenever he entered. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, family and friends. He spent his retirement years travelling , enjoying his gardens and koi ponds. He will be forever loved and deeply missed.

Bill was predeceased by his parents Olive and Ernest Griffiths, younger brother Frederick and younger sister Sylvia.
