Amy Lynne Motz (Shellberg), 59, of Lansing, Michigan passed away June 23, 2025 peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and joy. She was born in Lansing, Michigan to Bill and Bettie Shellberg.
Amy was known for her vibrant spirit, radiant smile, and eyes that lit up every room she entered. Always impeccably dressed in her colorful, fashionable outfits, sparkling jewelry, and perfect hair and nails, she carried herself with grace, strength, elegance, and an unmistakable sparkle that reflected the beautiful soul within.
Her love for baking and cooking were a true expression of her generous heart — always finding joy in serving others and making those around her feel special and cared for. Amy’s life was an example of love, selflessness, and compassion. She always put others before herself and never hesitated to share her warmth and kindness with anyone who crossed her path.
Amy’s greatest pride and joy was her family. She leaves behind her son, Matt and his wife, Claire (Kinloch), her daughter, Emberly (Motz) and husband, Ty Wilson, and Jim Motz (Deborah) who will forever cherish her unconditional love, endless support, and the beautiful memories they shared.
She was not only a remarkable mother but also a treasured friend, a creative and kind soul whose extraordinary capacity to love touched countless lives. Amy’s fun-loving personality, infectious laughter, and zest for life will be remembered and missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Her legacy of love, strength, beauty, and grace will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
