Our family is so sorry to hear about the loss of Mr. Froh.  He was a great inspiriation to our young Daughter Sydney of the DeWitt Kids program.  His kind heart and genuine interest in the children was absolutely amazing!  He has forever left a mark in Sydney's heart!  Thank you so much for sharing him with all of us in DeWitt!

I am deeply saddened about the sudden passing of Andy. I had the pleasure of working with him last year at DeWitt High School where he did an amazing job helping out with my students. He was looked up to by many there and he always had a smile, joke, and helpful hand. He was an important part of my classroom, and his absence will be truly missed. I keep thinking that he will be there, wearing one of many Hawaiian shirts, smiling and kidding around. It will not be the same without him. I hope that you all can find peace, strength, and happiness knowing that he is smiling down on you all. Our loss is Heaven's gain and we will see him again. This is such sad news. Andy and I go back to 9th grade when we worked together at the MSU Ice Arena while students at Gabriels. So many fun times together..on the football teams, glee club, spring musicals, the Teens Encounter Christ retreat, and more. You always felt at home at the Froh house and I have great memories of our friendship. I'm saddened that I hadn't seen Andy in a long time, or met Drew and Jacki, but from what I'm reading, it's obvious he hadn't changed. I'll always remember his smiling face and his sense of adventure and humor. My condolences to Mike and Becky, and the rest of the Froh family.

Just last week, I thought of Andy, and that it would be good to look him up to talk about old times and the great laughs we had sailing.  It had been so many years, and I lost touch with him.  I was very saddened to hear just yesterday of his passing. I remember Andy mucking around with that old diesel engine in the bilge of "Free Spirit", trying to get it going. But Andy always kept his sense of humor, a quality so rare these days.  It seemed he spent more time hosting friends at dockside, rather than out on the water. Andy had a great sense of humor but had such a gentle spirit about him.  I feel blessed to have known him and his family.  He will be missed by all the students and staff at DeWitt High School and the DeWitt community.  Sending prayers and hugs to Drew & Jacki.

Sorry to hear about Andy. I went to High School with Andy and I have great memories of our times.together. I heard of Andy's  death at Saint Thomas Aquinas Church today. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. I hope to see you at the memorial service.

I first met Andy at my parent's house in Coldwater in about 1970.  My first memory of Andy was watching him do the “chicken dance” in my parent's basement!  I met so many friends through Andy, including my husband, Jay.  We spent a lot time together over the years, and I remember hanging out at the Froh family house.   I also recall sailing on Andy's sailboat.  Andy's idea of sailing was to dock the boat and talk with friends; whether we actually sailed or not was incidental!  Jay and I spent time with Andy and Jackie, and wish we would have found more time in recent years.  Drew, you had a great dad, which I'm sure you know, and I pray for you, your mom, and the rest of your family.  Andy – you were loved by all and will be missed!

Jackie and Ann Marie: I began working at the Capitol in '75 and probably met Andy shortly thereafter at Suttons Bay. I always enjoyed his subtle humor that truly portrayed his intelligence. It was always a pleasure to see him in Lansing or, walking along the east shore of the harbor in one of the greatest places on this planet.

I so sorry to hear of Andys' passing, he went too early.

I know he was truly loved.

I knew Andy back in the early seventies when we were all trying to make sense of the war, the world around us and how were supposed to deal with it all. Andy was the calm at the center of it all. I don't think I've ever known anyone who was as comfortable with themselves as Andy and yet he always had a twinkle in his eye and was ready for a new adventure. I am lucky to have known him.

Jacki, Drew and Family so sorry to hear about Andy. We always enjoyed working closely with each other and became good friends. I can't stop thinking of him and you. I couldn't make it to the visitation. My prayers and thoughts are with you. I will talk to you soon.

Andy was my very first boss in 1986 while I was a student at MSU.  He gave me some very sage advice about a few things, one thing I carried with me as I started my own business was never to be too busy to answer your own phone!  He was so right. Jackie and Drew, I had the pleasure of knowing Andy personally, as we both worked at Scott School together for a few years.  But in addition to that, my son Jon was in the group of boys that Mr. Froh worked with over the last several years. Jon loved Mr. Froh, and so did I, because I could see that he truly cared about the students he worked with.  He was a genuinely kind and committed man who understood giving.  I feel such a loss that I won't get to run into him anymore, and that he won't be a part of Jon's day.  But I'm very grateful for the ways he touched us both.

Good bye old friend.  It was a pleasure to work and party with you.

Just thinking of Andy's smiling face makes me smile. He was such a loving human being.  I will miss him.

I've been remembering so many great times with Andy ever since I heard the sad news. Even though years have passed it seems like yesterday.

We were very saddened to hear of the loss of Mr. Froh as we knew him.  Isabel was able to spend last summer with Mr. Froh at the summer Kids program in DeWitt.  Her favorite memory of him is when they went to Williamston and say the comedian.  Mr. Froh was called up on stage and "acted very silly" according to Isabel.  His gentle spirit, warm smile and kind words will be missed.  From our family to yours, our sincerest sympathy.

I will hold closely in my heart all the woderful memories of Andy from back in the 60's at St. Thomas Aquinas, rides in his Bronco, a 70's road trip from Washington to Florida including a ride I'll never forget down SanFrancisco's Lubar Lane (spl?)The world is a better place because of him and is apart of who I am.

My dear friend Andy - I miss you already dude! We sleep walk through our way too busy lives and assume we can connect with dear friends when we get a little time; only to find that opportunity gone! I am overjoyed to hear about your recent trip up north with Doug and Kav; but truly bummed that I was not there. I am so glad for that not too distant breakfast we shared with a group of close friends; and saddened it happened so rarely. I rejoice in knowing we will be rejoined in the presence of our Creator and Lord Jesus (you were one of the first to share your love for Him with me way back when you were active in "Teen encounters with Christ"). Say hello to my dear friends and parents and put in a good word for me with the main man - He knows I love him but He also gave me my life verse: "Are you still so dull?" Jesus asked them. Andy has been a friend of mine since 1971. Through Andy, I became friends with his brother, Mike, who I have stayed close with for all of these years. Andy was always a great guy to all of us. God Bless you Andy and all of the Froh family.

Truly sorry for your loss is not enough. Obviously no condolence will ever lessen your loss. We couldn't be more shocked by the news of Andy's passing, but, so many of us couldn't be more grateful for what he chose to do with his "retirement" and the impact he had on our children and particularly my son. Andy  practiced unselfishness every day, he was genuinely interested in the welfare of others, and you could tell he thought it was a privilege to do another person a kindness.  Andy may be the richest guy I knew in generosity of heart.  I am grateful for the blessings and example he brought to all of us.

I have many fond memories of hanging out with Andy when we were young adults.  Andy was always looking out for everyone  and so willing to help his friends.  He had a wonderful sense of humor!  He was loved by everyone who knew him!
 Years later, I ran into Andy at Scott Elementary School when I was subbing in Drew's class.  It was so great to see him and meet Drew! I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Andy. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers. Andy coached my daughter and he shared funny stories of her during the season. I also had the pleasure of working with him at the school. He had great Passion of helping kids and would buy kids lunch that had no money and seemed hungry. The community is going to miss such a great role model.
