Andrew was a man who lived life with a generous heart, a quick wit, and an unwavering love for his family. He was tragically taken from us far too soon, leaving behind countless memories and a void that can never be filled.
Andrew had a grin that could light up a room and a sense of humor that made people feel comfortable, welcome, and valued. He was the kind of friend you could always count on—a loyal, dependable presence through both good times and difficult ones.
Above all else, Andrew’s greatest pride and joy were his children, Weslie and Michael. His face would light up whenever he spoke about them, and anyone who knew him could see the immense love he had for them. He also cherished his stepchildren, Gracie and Carter, whom he loved as his own. His family was the center of his world, and he took great pride in being a father, mentor, and source of support for those he loved.
Andrew had a passion for cars and enjoyed sharing that enthusiasm with family and friends. Whether talking about a new vehicle, solving a mechanical problem, or helping someone troubleshoot an issue, he had a remarkable ability to understand how things worked. Andrew had a mind that could fix almost anything—whether it was mechanical, logistical, or simply helping someone navigate life’s everyday challenges.
He found joy in life’s simple pleasures: a good cigar, a meal shared with loved ones, and spending time around the smoker or grill preparing food for family and friends. Andrew loved to cook, and his generosity was often expressed through the care he put into feeding those he loved.
Those who worked alongside Andrew knew him as someone who spoke fondly of his coworkers and genuinely valued the people around him. He built strong relationships wherever he went and was respected for his loyalty, dependability, and willingness to help others.
A loving son, father, brother, nephew, cousin, stepfather, and friend, Andrew leaves behind a legacy of kindness, laughter, hard work, and devotion to friends and family. Though his time with us was far too short, the love he shared and the memories he created will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Andrew Sammon. He leaves behind his daughter, Weslie Sammon; his mother, Constance Hendrick, father, Thomas Sammon; his sister, Alexis Sammon, nephews, Jonas and Jude; his Uncle, Jeffery Stefanic, Aunt Kim Francois; his stepchildren, Gracie and Carter Montague; along with numerous cousins and beloved friends.
He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
