Anna Bell (Randall) Grover, 99, beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother went to her heavenly home, Monday, September 4, 2023. She was born January 24, 1924 in Bancroft, Michigan to the late George F. and Anna (Johnson) Randall. Ann graduated from Corunna High School in 1942. Shortly after she went to work in a airplane factory plant in support of WWII. She was our own ‘Rosie the Riveter.’ Later she would work as a Michigan Bell Telephone operator and aid for the Lansing School District.
She met her husband, Dick Grover, in a chance encounter at a restaurant and were wed three months later. Their courtship tale was always a joy to hear by all as they celebrated 63 years of marriage. They were active in their community and with Mount Hope Church 50+ers ministry. They enjoyed daily walks and there was never a shortage of homemade meals and sweets.
She was constantly reading her bible and praying for anyone and everyone that needed it. She enjoyed the company of her friends and family, and always with a cup of hot coffee in her hand. Ann was a master of card/board games and loved spending quality time with her family. To this day, family and friends don’t know how she managed to have such a long-standing winning streak! Ann’s faith in the Lord was unshakable, she lived her life putting the Lord first and living by his example. She never criticized anyone, rather encouraged and was there with a smile, hug and conversation that could last hours. She will always be remembered as a loving, caring, generous, soul with the biggest heart.
She is survived by her children; Sharon (Joe) Larrance, Richard Grover, Jennifer (Ron) Grover and Eric (Kim) Grover. She also leaves behind her Grandchildren; Derek (Becky) Larrance, Devon Larrance, Herb Larrance, Rachel Larrance, Nicole (Heather) Larrance, Koasta (Mellissa) Larrance, Maria (Nick) Hodges, Elizaveta Larrance, Stan Larrance, David Larrance, Kita Larrance, Emily Grover, Richard (Peggy) Grover, Amanda (David) Rascoe, Kelly (Vang) Vang, Randall (McKenna) Grover, Eric Grover, Adam Grover and Sam Grover.
