Age 55, Annette passed away Sunday, January 23, 2011 after a struggle with Breast Cancer. Annette loved music, theater, movies, art and travel. She traveled to Spain, Portugal, Germany, Seattle, the Grand Canyon, Memphis and San Diego. There was a special place in her heart for New Orleans, New York City and the U.P. of Michigan, Annette conceived of and convinced her husband to cross-country ski across the ice from St. Ignace to Mackinaw Island. Annette challenged herself to acquire a masters degree. A challenge she was successfully achieving at the time of her passing. Annette is preceded in death by her mother Eleanor Crosby; brother-in-law Kim Ballinger; and her grandparents Irving and Ola Mudd. She is survived by her loving husband of 25 years Robert J. Rose; daughter Heather (Ross) Helmick; grandchildren Sarah and Matthew Helmick; father Robert Crosby; sister Pamela Ballinger; stepfather Bob Cornelius; stepbrothers Alan and Mike Cornelius; niece and nephew Jenny (Joel Hagaman) Ballinger and Wade Ballinger; and her ever faithful and loving dog Rocky.
