Anthony was born July 11, 1962 in Lansing, Michigan to Robert and Joyce (Blascoe) Ballard.
He is preceded in death by his dad.
Left to cherish his memory is his children; Trisha and Samuel Ballard; grand children, Nicholas, Carmella, Allison and Neveah; one sister Terri Ryder; three nephews, Sean Short, Rob Short, and A.J. Ryder.
He retired from General Motors.
Anthony loved spending time with his family. He cherished camping, boating, going to concerts, working out, wood working, and watching movies. He also loved to travel and had a great sense of humor.
A visitation will be held on June 5, 2019 at Gorsline Runciman, 900 East Michigan Ave., Lansing, MI 48912 from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m.
A funeral service will be held on June 6, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of the Resurrection, 1527 E Michigan Ave, Lansing, MI 48912, with a one hour prior visitation.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Anthony's memory may be made to; St. Judes Children Hospital for cancer research, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105; and City Rescue Mission of Lansing, 2216 S Cedar St., Lansing, Michigan 48910.
