I met my dear friend in 2012 I believe and since then we were very close. Too close for comfort as he would say haha. He always joked about my boyfriends being jealous about him but it's so funny because there was a tad of truth to it lol but not really. I got to know Arnie very well and Glenda and all of their friends including Hank and everyone!!! Arnie had a ton of friends but there was no friend like him. He was selfless and Glenda accepted that! He had to do for everyone even though he needed nothing in return. Ever. Until he got his truck stuck in the back yard lol. He needed no help. Pretty sure he said Hank could pull it out himself lol I have many stories.!! I have not had to buy a turkey in 6 years because Arnie insisted his was the best! And it was always!. I am lost at the thought that he is gone but I want to see his memory move on. Sweet corn in the summer and chili in the winter. 2 beers at the bar and so many laughs. A friend told me years ago that when Arnie is gone much is lost and I feel it every day since he passed but I want to keep the spirit alive because he was so full of life!! So positive! Never a negative word. When I had bad days he wouldn't even hear it. It was on to the next subject and I'm pretty sure it was pulled pork. I love u Arnie and u will be dearly missed by myself, my kids, and everyone who knew your name! Rest in peace my dearest friend and thank you for everything even though I told u every time. Thank you again for being a great friend in our lives!!! I miss you and I have no more words. We love you always

Arnie was a cousin by marriage. His mother in law was my Aunt Marion Ball. I remember him being a loving father to his daughter and later to her family. He had a huge heart and the biggest smile! A funny story is about Arnie making his first Turkey. He had it cooking for some time. He called his mil Marion in a panic. He told her how long it had been cooking. She asked if the pop-up plastic timer was up. He said yes it had popped up about an hour ago. She asked why he hadn’t taken it out. His reply was “I’m waiting for the bell to ding on the Turkey timer!”. I think of this every time I make a Turkey.

Arnie was a great friend in High school and shortly there after. Sophia took care of me for several years as a boarder or son, so many good times with the family. Arnie would e-mail and chat periodically with me as we aged. I would like to wish the family the comfort and prayers at this difficult time.
